God is love, let heav’n adore him
God is love let earth rejoice
Let creation sing before him
And exalt him with one voice
God who laid the earth’s foundation
God who spread the heavens above
God who breathes through all creation
God is love, eternal love
God is love, eternal love
God is love and love enfolds us
All the world in one embrace
With unfailing grasp God holds us
Every child of every race
And when human hearts are breaking
Under sorrow’s iron rod
Then we find that self same aching
Deep within the heart of God
Deep within the heart of God
God is love and though with blindness
Sin afflicts all human life
God’s eternal loving kindness
Guides us through our earthly strife
Sin and death and hell shall never
O’er us final triumph gain
God is love so love forever
O’er the universe shall reign
O’er the universe shall reign

Love divine, all loves excelling,
Joy of heaven to earth come down;
Fix in us thy humble dwelling;
All thy faithful mercies crown!
Jesus, Thou art all compassion,
Pure unbounded love Thou art;
Visit us with Thy salvation;
Enter every trembling heart.
Breathe, O breathe Thy loving Spirit,
Into every troubled breast!
Let us all in Thee inherit;
Let us find the promised rest.
Take away our bent to sinning;
Alpha and Omega be;
End of faith, as its Beginning,
Set our hearts at liberty.
Finish, then, Thy new creation;
Pure and spotless let us be.
Let us see Thy great salvation
Perfectly restored in Thee;
Changed from glory into glory,
Till in heaven we take our place,
Till we cast our crowns before Thee,
Lost in wonder, love, and praise.

There's a wideness in God's mercy
Like the wideness of the sea;
There's a kindness in his justice,
Which is more than liberty.
There’s a welcome for the sinner,
And more graces for the good;
There is mercy with the Savior;
There is healing in his blood.
There’s no place where earthen sorrow
Is felt more than in heav’n;
There’s no place where earthly failings
Have forgiveness freely giv’n
There is plentiful redemption
In the blood that has been shed;
There is joy for all the members
In the sorrows of the Head
For the love of God is broader
Than the measure of our mind
And the heart of the Eternal
Is most wonderfully kind.
If our love were but more faithful,
We should take him at his word;
And our lives would be thanksgiving
For the goodness of the Lord
For the goodness of the Lord

O Love divine, what has thou done!
The immortal died for me.
The Father's own beloved Son
Bore my sin on a tree.
O immortal God for me hath died:
My Lord, my Love, is crucified!
Is crucified for me and you,
to bring us back to God.
Believe, believe the record true,
We are bought with blood.
Pardon for all flows from His side:
My Lord, my Love, is crucified!
Behold him, all ye passers by,
the bleeding Prince of peace!
Come, sinners, see your Savior die,
Was ever grief like His?
Come, feel with me His blood applied:
My Lord, my Love, is crucified!

Love’s redeeming work is done,
Fought the fight, the battle won.
Death in vain forbids Him rise;
Christ has opened paradise
Alleluia, Alleluia!
Alleluia!
Lives again our glorious King;
Where, O death, is now thy sting?
Once He died our souls to save,
Where thy victory, O grave?
Soar we now where Christ has led,
Following our exalted Head;
Made like Him, like Him we rise,
Ours the cross, the grave, the skies.
